Blessings

My heavens, I just have so much to be thankful for. We've had an interesting past 2 weeks. When negotiating the contract that Nathaniel works on, his company didn't factor in any overtime pay, and obviously people worked some overtime, so they ended up having to cut hours. Everyone has to cut about 2-4 hours a week. Either that, or 2 people would have to get fired. So they opted for the hours cut. That was frightening, but luckily, we had just received our federal tax returns, and so had paid for the things we needed to that there would have been no possible way at this point. That includes getting my enhancer wedding band for Valentine's day!! I was so happy. Its so pretty!


Sorry, I had to brag about it for a bit.
Anyway, as I was saying, I know that Nathaniel's hours being cut does not really sound like a blessing, but I feel that it was a blessing in disguise. It gave me the kick in the rear to get me really working hard on my school, and I finally got the coursework done! So I am now scheduled to take the final on Monday, and depending on when I get my score, and based on the assumption that I pass, I should be able to have a job sometime in early April.
Another blessing that has come right around this time is that Nathaniel just got a raise! It is only 40 cents, but still, it helps. Somehow, I don't know how, this paycheck ended up more than the last, even with a few less hours on it. We should also be getting our state tax returns back soon, and with those we will definitely make it through until the end of the fiscal year, when his hours will go back up. The Lord has just been taking such good care of us. We have had so many times where we weren't sure how we were going to pay all of our bills, but somehow we have made it through every time.
Another thing I am excited about with all of this, is that with me being done with school, I will be able to start my Mary Kay business up again, which is really fun for me, so I count that as another blessing from all of this. Anyway, thats it for me for now.
Maybe my life will get a bit more exciting soon, so that I will write more. Then again, I don't know that I want to wish for that, because generally, if you wish for exciting, it becomes not fun exciting. ;) Hopefully I'll just get better at writing.
